Miss Opportunity - Ch. 41.4

Millsap let out a string of loud curses after he hung up the phone with Franco. The other general had just called to confirm Cami’s claim that they had broken up. Franco wanted clearance to sleep with her tonight.

Though Millsap had nearly choked on every word, he’d said, “If Cami’s over there for you, then that means she’s no longer mine. Do what you feel.”

Franco had chuckled with glee, revealing just how much he still wanted Cami after all this time.

That gleeful sound, combined with Cami’s willful disregard for their love, had done something wicked to Millsap's soul. It made him act wickedly himself.

Grabbing a box of large garbage bags from the laundry room, Millsap went into the master suite and began to stuff Cami’s clothes and shoes into them. Those were the only things he’d let her have out of this house. The furniture that she’d picked out and all the appliances would remain in the house.

As for the Lexus, Millsap decided to let Cami keep that as a parting gift. He also wanted that car to serve as a reminder of what she’d had with him and didn’t appreciate.

Now all I need to do is call a locksmith, Millsap mused, ready to move on with his life as soon as possible. He would also call his lawyer first thing in the morning and have his will changed back to the way it was before he ever hooked up with the likes of Cami Edison.

Okay, that's it until Monday. I know you guys are on the hook again, but it couldn't be helped. A sista is tired after posting so much tonight.

Going to respond to comments now than signing off the computer to begin my day of rest.

P.S. Keep in mind that we should be going to the VOD on Tuesday night. Monday's post will finish up what happened after Cami got back home and a few other heartbreaking things.

Paula: You're so right. In Millsap's eyes, he didn't do anything wrong. In his mind, he was just trying to help out a friend.

*scoffing and rolling my eyes*

What-ever!

I believe if I roll my eyes any more they are going to get stuck in top of my head. LOL

Men are predictable that way, they are always right.

AS MY MOMMA SAY....

You never miss the well till the water goes dry.

That replies to both of them.

I'm just sick. I can't believe how everything just fell apart like that. I'm nervous about the outcome. Please let Cami make it back in time so that Millsap can see that nothing really happened. I hope Cami knows that a lot of apologizes are in order. But Millsap has to see the part in played in this as well.

I agree with Paula, Cami was stupid with what she did....

BUT HOW DARE MILLSAP ACT AS IF HE HAD NOOOOO PART IN WHAT IS HAPPENING. HOW DARE HE MAKE CAMI FEEL AS IF SHE HAS TO ACCEPT WHAT EVER HE DOES WHILE HE CAN TALK TO WHO HE WANTS WHENEVER HE WANTS. I CAN NOT STAND THESES MEN WITH THIER DOUBLE STANDARDS. IF I WERE BIG ENOUGH AND STRONG ENOUGH I WOULD KICK HIS BUTT!!!! IF HE LOVES HER THEN IT IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE HER FEEL SECURE IN THE RELATIONSHIP.... I KNOW THAT HE HAS ALREADY DONE ALOT... BUT APARENTLY WHAT HE HAS DONE IS NOT WHAT SHE NEEDS.

WHAT SHE NEEDS IF FOR HIM TO CUT OF DEILYA!!!!
