Enticing Mr. Wrong - Ch. 19.1

Aisha emerged from the bathroom fifteen minutes later fully clothed and looking fabulous. As a model, she was used to getting dress and undressed very fast.

Aisha’s hair, damp from the quick shower she’d had, was pulled back in a side ponytail, allowing her long tresses to cascade down over one shoulder. Her makeup was lightly applied with only a bit of eyeliner and a touch of clear lip-gloss. Natural beauty accounted for the rest.

The top Aisha chose was chestnut with specks of gold in it; both were colors that complimented her eyes. Her chosen jeans were low cut; exposing a scrumptious bit of her flat abdomen, and were rolled up and cuffed at the knees to reveal her shapely calves. On her feet were the leopard print stilettos.

On the outside, Aisha looked ready for a casual date. On the inside, she was ready for war. She would go to war in just a few minutes. First she had to straighten up the room she occupied last night. After all, her mama raised her right. Aisha knew to leave things the way she found them as a guest in someone else’s home.

Downstairs, Bonz was doing his best to appear normal around his friends. At the same time he was trying to speed through the meal that E-Blade and Racker brought along with them.

The meal Bonz bought for him and Aisha had been put in the microwave before he ever answered the door. Now he just hoped she stayed asleep until his other guests left. Most likely she would, considering the long night she had.

“Well, man, you heard all about our nights,” E-Blade said, turning the subject towards Bonz. “What went down with you and yo' girl Aisha last night? She’s a hot lil’ number, so I know you enjoyed hitting that.”

Bonz fought not to frown. “Aisha is hot,” he replied, trying not to outright lie. “Matter of fact, she’s still here now, so keep your voices down before you wake her up.”

E-Blade and Racker’s mouths dropped open.

“She’s still here?” Racker whispered.

Bonz nodded. “Yeah. She stayed all night. We had a nice time together.”

“A nice time?” E-Blade said, speaking at his normal tone. He could care less about offending Aisha. “Is that code for you beat the brakes off that chick or something else?” he added, using a phrase that referred to hardcore sex.

Before Bonz could reply, Aisha suddenly rounded the corner of the dining room. His heart lunged in his throat.

Did she hear that last comment? If so, she certainly didn’t look or act like it.

Why is Aisha getting mad? Greg friends came over to his house and she already knew what type of guys there were. She wants to be the only one being deceptive and malnipultive in this story but it's not all about her.

Subrina: I hear you, girl. See I told ya Aisha was far from perfect. Makes her character more believable too, doesn't it?

I understand where y'all are coming from but if I were her, I'd still be offended. Go in for the kill girl. Make em' squirm. I think that's my mean streak (#8 on the list) coming out. Oh well, it's Monday.

Yeah, she put herself in the situation to have that comment made about her. (not to say the comment was called for).

What would Bonz's friends say about her if they knew what she was really doing?

Marlene: I didn't want to say anything, but I am personally cheering Aisha on, too. Maybe I got a mean streak, too. lol.

Tonia: I agree that Aisha can expect a certain level of disrespect from guys like them. But that don't mean she has to take it. I like that she don't take no mess. lol. Okay, now I'm sounding like a James Brown song. Did I ever tell y'all that I danced for him when I was little.

True story - James B. was the good friend of one of my babysitters. While I was over there one day he came by. They told him how well I could dance, he challenged me to do so, I did (I danced my little behind off, y'all), and the brother paid me for my performance. To this day, I love me some James Brown.
