Miss Opportunity - Ch. 26.2

“I’m thinking about getting rid of costume night,” Millsap turned to tell Mike-Mike as they sat in the comfortable recliners near the skybox window, looking out over the crowd below.

Franco was not there tonight. Deborah, his first baby-mama was sponsoring a huge slumber party at her home for all of his children so that the siblings could get to know each other better and bond. Franco was there to bond with them, as well, since he seldom had his kids all in the same place at one time.

“Why would you want to get rid of costume night?” Mike-Mike asked, just as dateless as Millsap tonight. “That was one of our better business moves. I’m glad Cami suggested it. Look how packed it is down there.”

Millsap reluctantly looked back at the window, instantly scowling as Cami flirted with a new male customer that she just seated at a VIP booth.

That sexy army private costume she wore barely covered her privates. The whole outfit consisted of a front tie top that stopped right under her breasts, a pair of shorts that barely covered her bottom, and a pair of green go-go boots.

“Ohhhhh. I see why you want to stop costume night now,” Mike-Mike said, noting where his friend’s attention had gone.

“Exactly.”

“Man, I told you to just go ahead and get that. Cami’s changed," Mike-Mike advocated. "She working two jobs now. And she still living in that boarding house even though she can afford better just so she can save up to get her son back. Plus, Tonja told me that Cami even put herself on child support, making sure her son gets a slice of everything she makes off the top.”

Millsap turned away from the window again to look at his friend. “I didn’t know about that last part.” He grew thoughtful. “Maybe she has changed.”

A part of Millsap wanted to believe that. The same part that wanted to believe that Cami had actually fallen in love with him. That love was the real reason behind her request for a serious relationship last week and not anything monetary. At least not mostly monetary.

Turning back to the window, Millsap’s frown deepened. “I know one thing ain’t changed about her. She can still sniff out a dude with money. Look how hard she flirting with Mr. Premier Rolex down there.” It was now clear to him that Cami hadn’t changed enough for his tastes.

How could she possibly love me and flirt so openly with another man? And in my own club, too! Millsap mused, forgetting that he’d done the same things in front of her, especially this week.

Suddenly Millsap let out a loud expletive. He literally saw red when Kobe reached down and palmed Cami’s bottom.

I will kill that fool for touching what’s mine! Millsap mused possessively as blinding rage propelled him to spring to his feet and head for the skybox’s door.

Was he going to retrieve the 9mm out of the trunk of his car?

No, Millsap was going to beat Kobe to a pulp and then choke the life out of him with the only weapons he needed right now – his hands.

That ah girl Cami..........

I LOVE how she is not deliberaely trying to make him jealous. My girl made the decision to move on with her life and got that brother green with jealousy.

Oh, Millsap you are tripping and I love it.

I love it when men get a taste of their own medicine. When they stop thinking of themselves as GODS gift to women they will not have to face our wrath. LOL

GO CAMI

GO CAMI

YEAH CAMIIIIIIIIIIIII...........

Paula: I am grinning wide about your love for Cami now. I feel as if I've done half of my job already - to get everybody to like the unlikable.
