Miss Opportunity - Ch. 15.3
“Do you really want this?” Millsap asked, putting even more power behind his grinds as even more of his restraint unraveled.
“Yes,” Cami panted out. “I want all of that,” she said, shuddering from his aggression, from this foretaste of what she could expect from him.
How much power did this man have in those muscular hips of his? Cami had to place one hand on the thick window ahead just for extra support against Millsap’s forceful grinds.
“Then be at my apartment next Friday after the club closes,” Millsap replied, grunting out orders as his hips and hands continued to take command of her senses. “Get a physical by then and bring your test results with you. Pack an overnight bag and be ready to sleep over, because you’re going to be too tired to drive home.”
Hot tingles went through Cami’s body at those words. What was Millsap going to do to her that night that she was going to be too tired to even drive? She could hardly wait to find out.
“Where do you live?” Cami asked breathlessly.
“If you want me so bad, find out on your own,” Millsap replied and then released her completely before he really lost his mind.
Not only was this a no-no in his place of business, but he’d just seen Daysha walk through the crowd below. She would be up here any minute now.
“Consider your apartment found then,” Cami said, determined to make the most of yet another opportunity as she stood upright again.
“Cool,” Millsap replied, taking deep breaths as he moved to sit down at the round table.
Cami had him harder than two bricks. Correction, two cinder blocks. Even now he wanted to return to her. Return and just take her right here in the club, despite the pending arrival of Daysha. Despite everything.
But he couldn’t. There were too many personal and professional rules to consider. Plus, there was the control factor to consider as well. If Millsap took Cami right now, she’d know that she could entice him to do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. It was bad enough he was giving in to this one-nighter.
“And Cami,” Millsap said, drawing her attention to him again.
“Yes, Millsap?” she purred in response, turning to look at him expectantly.
“One night is all you get with me, so you better make the most of it.” Millsap reached for his drink with calm hands, despite the raging torrent in his body and soul.
“Oh, I will,” Cami promised with a sensual smile. Then she quickly righted her clothes, grabbed her empty tray and switched her shapely hips out of the room.
Behind her, Millsap turned his head and took a long gulp from his glass, forcing himself not to watch her leave. He inwardly scolded himself for being so weak. He hadn’t been ruled by his flesh this much since the night he met
I hope this one-nighter turns out better than that one did, Millsap mused, wincing at that memory.
He was highly tempted to call the whole thing off now. To just tell Cami he’d changed his mind. After all, Millsap had plenty of women on his onion roster to choose from. He didn’t need another. He especially didn’t need one with a past like Cami’s.
Though Millsap didn’t dare hold Cami’s rap sheet against her since his own wasn’t spotless either, especially his juvenile record, he was holding her shallowness and her treacherous ways against her. No man wanted a woman he couldn’t trust. A woman that he’d always have to watch his back around.
Yeah, tomorrow I’m gonna let her know that the date is cancelled, Millsap decided just as his date for the evening entered the skybox.
* * *
Several hours later, Millsap went into his bedroom, leaving a sleeping Daysha in the guest bedroom alone the way he always did his female guests. Though sex with the nurse was just as good as always, he craved something more tonight. Something wilder, hotter.
Millsap craved Cami.
That volcanic heat she’d had was pretty hard to forget. So was the way she used her inner muscles to call to him and the way she moved her hips as they danced.
But what really made Cami unforgettable tonight was the way she didn’t run from his display of power and strength. How she seemed to welcome that hidden wildness in him and, in fact, had pulled it out of him inch by inch throughout their whole encounter. Surely that in and of itself was worth at least one night of deeper exploration.
One night and then I’m done with her, Millsap promised himself as next Friday’s date became officially back on again.

P.S. I ain't gonna lie. I did learn how to leave better cliffhangers from Sylvia. lol. However, I try not to leave too many BIG ones when I know I'm going to be absent for a while. That's the sympathetic reader in me understanding how tormenting it is to be done that way. lol.
P.S Them Vidalia Onions are sweet...rofl
Never the less I CHOOSE to walk in love and be patcient.

"Never trust a big butt and a smile?!" LOLLLL!!!!!! Too funny.
Millsap probably will eat those words. Maybe. Maybe not. *grinning mischievously*
And yes, Vidalia Onions are sweet. They're grown big time in our state (GA).
