What was Aisha thinking!!! Now Bonz needs to act like her silly behind did when she saw him at the club with Co-Co because she certainly deserves it.

Subrina: That's the problem, Aisha wasn't thinking. *shaking my head at her*

I gave Aisha this slipup not only because it makes her appear more human and real, but also because this one event is going to thrust her and Bonz where they need to be. It's also going to build upon some later conflict.

All I can say at this point, y'all, is that drama is coming down the road in various forms that I'm getting excited just thinking about it. I wish I had 4 hands to type faster.

I'm at page 198 of a 269 Word document so that leaves around 71 pages of intense lovemaking, conflict, exposure, and resolution to pack in. That number count might change if more scenes are added.

Also, and this is for all to consider, please be thinking about where I should cut this book off once the full preview is over. Should I cut it off BEFORE or AFTER Bonz and Aisha's first love scene (the one at his house, not the one on the rooftop)?

uuuGGGH!@#$%. NO! she was not thinking at all @#$%^. That girl needs to come clean and fast. With Bonz and most of all Jarrett. She knows Bonz is jealous and with Daddy Burgess saying what he did while she was talking to Bonz could cause Jarrett to push up daisies. Deception is dangerous. She should have taken Momma Ingrams advice. I hope this doesn't blow up in her face to bad when it finally comes to a head.

Stop at the rooftop. If they want to know the rest they'll just have to purchase it.(smile)

Carrie: Stop cuzzing on my blog, woman! lol. You're forgiven. *smile*

I agree, Aisha needs to come clean, but you know human nature - most of us come clean when we absolutely HAVE to.

One vote for the rooftop. Anybody else?

i think the cut off place.... the scene at the house... before u get to the juicy part.... that scene is way more intense than the rooftop.... Aisha definitely seems more real with regard to her little slip up....

I think her boy is gonna be really hurt when he hears how long his darling lied to him....poor guy...he could have helped her catch the person who really murdered Dominic... afterall he hates bad dope/drugs (did i say that right?!)

Kim: Which juicy part at the house? They were all juicy to me. lol.

And yeah, poor Bonz is going to be broke up when he finds out the truth. The one time he put his heart out there, he gets betrayed. Dang. I hated doing that to the poor fellow. But take heart, he recovers (in every way - hint, hint).

Oh, yeah, you said bad dope/drugs right. lol. You tickle me, girl. Sometimes I forget that we're on different continents. What do they call drugs/dope over there in South Africa?
Anonymous said…
LOl..... they call it various things over here.... but not dope.... drugs/straws/ buttons/tik.... tik is a big thing here in Cape Town, u guys call it crystal meth....we have many languages here so... some of the names are from a language called Afrikaans...

yeah this story has really been JUICY......lol

I vote for the sizzling house scene for the cutt off point.

I'm thining a good cutoff point would be the house scene too. End at the part where Aisha has to leave the next day and they discovered they had both found their match in a lover, but too late. That will leave em yearning for more.

Anon and Marlene: Y'all don't think the sizzling house scene is too much? I'm thinking it is. I'm thinking that I should cut off right before they go to the house, when Bonz changes their plans from the hotel to his house.

For some reason I don't want to give away that house scene. I want them to WONDER WHAT HAPPENS AT THE HOUSE, so much so that they will motivated to buy the book. I want that rooftop scene to be the teaser of how passionate things can get between them.

*shrugging* I don't know. I still have time to think on it.
