To all: That's it for now. I need to get some rest and I have homework to finish. Hopefully y'all won't be too mad and disappointed on account of the 6 posts you got today.
If I'm not too tired, I may post more later tonight, but I'm not making no promises.

Least you did not leave us at a very high cliff. We still want more, but that is normal. Hope Bonz's plan backfires back at him. He needs to learn that you don't cheat or even attemp to cheat on Aisha.

Yes, I need a little rest also. This story has taken on a life of it's own and I've drained every ounce of energy I had trying to keep up with it. I have to tell you girlfriend, you got me on this one but that's a good thing. I can hardly stay away from my computer for more than an hour. So, thank you for the rest. I sure do need it. And poor Tonia (lol) I think she needs some too.
Jessie: Bonz wasn't about to cheat. Or did I not make that clear? I'll double check. Even still the brother still looked very guilty with Co-co at his table. lol.
Carrie: Get that rest, girl. Because a makeup scene is coming up along with a new twist to the story.
Question(s) for the group: Have I put too much drama in the book? Or are we fine the way we are?
Carrie says she's drained and that's a good thing, what about everyone else?

I am with Carrie I need a rest. I think this book hits home for me. I see sooo many of my family members in the characters. I don't feel like its too much drama. If this was a paperback, its the type you would carry around with you and pull it out, read some. Then go about your day and the pull it out again. With it being on line, and trying to keep up with the posts, you don't get that breather you take when a book is really good and intense. Plus its fun, to comment and read other comments as you go. Keep up the drama!

The dram-a-meter says you are right on time. Keep it coming. OMG!I think I'm going to take a bubble bath soak and get as much rest as I can. I can never tell where your creative twists will take me.(lol)
Tonia & Carrie: Thanks for the additional feedback about the drama levels. For a minute there I thought I was wearing y'all out with the highs and lows of this book. But then again, doesn't life get that way sometimes? At least my life does. lol.
Going to edit now. We'll see how much posting I can get done tonight/early this morning my time.
Three hours later, Mike-Mike and Tonja returned to his car after spending some quality time at his place. Quality, as in this was the best sexual experience they’d ever had in their lives. Playing from the car stereo was the same soothing CD by Kem that they’d listened to earlier. Tonja insisted that Mike-Mike bring it out to the car since it contained her newest favorite song - Tonight . “How do you want to play this out, Tonja?” Mike-Mike asked as he drove to her mother’s house where she would be staying tonight. “I really don’t know how we should play this out, Michael,” Tonja replied from the passenger seat. She looked so sated and relaxed sitting there. All of her previous anger and frustration were gone. She’d also taken to calling Mike-Mike by his first name instead of his nickname. “Well, the way I see it, we have three options,” Mike-Mike said. “Option one, we can pretend this never happened on account of the club’s no-fraternizing rule and go back to the way thing...
I want to personally thank everybody for their input on Pretty Packages . All of it was helpful, even the input that made me revisit why I entered the Secular market in the first place. I needed to reaffirm my peace in that area. Needed to make sure I hadn’t gotten off track somewhere. To the person that prompted that re-visitation, I want to say a fond THANK YOU for having my spiritual back. I need people who aren’t afraid to call me on the carpet about a few things, even if we end up agreeing to disagree. Now, in case y’all are wondering which line I finally decided to put/keep Pretty Packages under, it is the Secular line. Here’s why: 1. I can reach more people this way. People who may never go in the Inspirational section of a bookstore, never pick up a Bible, and never go to a church. I'm counting on God to use Pretty Packages (and other books like it) to plant seeds of hope and inspiration into the hearts and minds of the people that I just described above. I...
Hello Reader Friends! Some of you may not have heard from me for a while. I apologize for that and I pray that all is well with you and yours. As for me, I’ve had a whirlwind of things to happen in my life over the last 4 years. An unexpected divorce, health issues, graduate school, new business ventures, and lots of rebuilding time. Now that things are starting to settle down or at least make more sense, I’m pouring renewed energy into my writing career, as well as helping other aspiring authors to bring their literary visions to pass. This mission is accomplished through my new publishing company – Bridges & Channels Enterprises, LLC. Feel free to visit the website at: www.bridgesandchannels.com My latest personal writing project involved revamping Treachery Among Diamonds – a book from my Edgy Inspirational Romance Line.
