To all: Okay, who do y'all think Berry's client was? Who do y'all think that client's boss was?
lol.
I can't wait to see your guesses.
Next up is the Playas Ball. I have yet to write it because it's a spanking new scene, but I have good notes on what's about to go down.
FYI - I won't be posting again until much later. Got to catch up on some homework this weekend after this trying week I've had. Plus, I still got this Oct 10th deadline I'm trying to meet. Pray for me, y'all.
Much love.

Uhooh, this is not good. This is E-Blades runner. I smell trouble in the air. As soon as he sees blade she is busted. Aisha should have come clean long ago. This is going to be one interesting ball. My danger signal going off. come on October 10th.

I think it's someone who works for E-Blade or Frederico...Either way he spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

The boss is E-Blade. The client is that guy E-Blade was talking to awhile back, don't remember his name. Am I even close? Can't wait to see what will happen at the ball.
To all: Carrie and Jessie are right! The boss is E-Blade. The guy getting his hair braided is Millsap - same guy E-Blade was conversing with on the corner.
Subrina is right too in the sense that this guys spells trouble for Aisha either way. BIG trouble!
I can't wait to post again, but homework is still calling me. I only just now popped in to approve comments. When I get a significant break, I'll post a chapter or two of the Playas Ball. I have a few written out, just not edited yet.
I want to personally thank everybody for their input on Pretty Packages . All of it was helpful, even the input that made me revisit why I entered the Secular market in the first place. I needed to reaffirm my peace in that area. Needed to make sure I hadn’t gotten off track somewhere. To the person that prompted that re-visitation, I want to say a fond THANK YOU for having my spiritual back. I need people who aren’t afraid to call me on the carpet about a few things, even if we end up agreeing to disagree. Now, in case y’all are wondering which line I finally decided to put/keep Pretty Packages under, it is the Secular line. Here’s why: 1. I can reach more people this way. People who may never go in the Inspirational section of a bookstore, never pick up a Bible, and never go to a church. I'm counting on God to use Pretty Packages (and other books like it) to plant seeds of hope and inspiration into the hearts and minds of the people that I just described above. I...
Three hours later, Mike-Mike and Tonja returned to his car after spending some quality time at his place. Quality, as in this was the best sexual experience they’d ever had in their lives. Playing from the car stereo was the same soothing CD by Kem that they’d listened to earlier. Tonja insisted that Mike-Mike bring it out to the car since it contained her newest favorite song - Tonight . “How do you want to play this out, Tonja?” Mike-Mike asked as he drove to her mother’s house where she would be staying tonight. “I really don’t know how we should play this out, Michael,” Tonja replied from the passenger seat. She looked so sated and relaxed sitting there. All of her previous anger and frustration were gone. She’d also taken to calling Mike-Mike by his first name instead of his nickname. “Well, the way I see it, we have three options,” Mike-Mike said. “Option one, we can pretend this never happened on account of the club’s no-fraternizing rule and go back to the way thing...
January Cami found herself growing more irritable with each passing day. Her main source of irritation – Daysha. It seems that Daysha was finally able to recruit Millsap to coach her son’s basketball team. She’d been working on him about that for months now. Now Cami had to sit through game after game and watch Daysha cheer Jeremiah on one minute, smirk at her rival the next because she was still in Millsap’s life. Another source of irritation for Cami was the fact that after all these months of dating, Millsap still didn’t trust her with money. He bought her everything she needed and wanted (within reason, of course), but he never placed any actual money in her hands. Cami still either got credit cards to use or gift certificates. Any cash she had came from the proceeds of her small business and from her hotel paycheck. Matter of fact, the last time Millsap gave Cami any cash was the night of Mike-Mike’s birthday party, when she wasn’t his girlfriend. On top of all that, Mi...
